Best Google Pixel 7a chargers 2024

The Google Pixel 7a has long been our go-to choice if you want a great budget phone, but neither the wired nor the wireless charging speeds are particularly impressive. The phone has a day-long battery life, so you won't need to top it off until the next morning, usually. You can either use a USB-C charger to charge it or grab a wireless charger to cut the hassle with wires.

You'll want to pay close attention to this article since the Pixel 7a doesn't ship with a charging brick in the box. We've rounded up the best chargers that are compatible with the Pixel 7a's 18W wired and (realistically) 5W wireless charging specs.

Keep your Pixel 7a alive and flourishing with the right charger

The brilliant little Google Pixel 7a is great in so many regards that we've confidently rated it our best cheap Android phone. It's rare to find a small phone that packs so many flagship-level features at such a phenomenal price these days. Not only does it have a 90Hz OLED panel and the Tensor G2 chipset, but it's also water and dustproof. With five years of guaranteed software updates, it's a great long-term investment for anyone.

We all know that the Pixel 7a is a great bargain, but it might be worth holding off for the Pixel 8a which is right around the corner. From what we know so far, it could be as good as the Pixel 8 but that could also mean a higher price.

The Pixel 7 is also worth considering in place of the 7a as it's mostly on sale, and sometimes, even cheaper than the budget Pixel. The 7 offers more storage, a tougher display, better cameras, and slightly quicker wired and wireless charging.

One aspect of the phone that's not as good though is the fact that Google does not give you a charging brick in the box, which means you've got to buy a compatible Type-C charger.

The best USB-C charger for the Pixel 7a is Anker's fun-sized Nano Pro 20W charger. It has a single USB-C port and it is extremely compact. You can use it with any other Android or iOS device as well. The 20W brick from Anker is really cheap too, so you don't have to stretch your budget.

If you want something a little more versatile, the Voltme Revo 30W GaN charger is a great pick. It has two ports, foldable prongs, and an intuitive design. The UGREEN Nexode 30W charger is also a great option, offering 30W through its single USB-C port.

Naturally, after getting a phone with wireless charging compatibility, you'd want to top it up wirelessly as well. For that, you need a wireless charging pad or stand. If you want something affordable, the last-gen Google Pixel Stand is your optimal choice. Since the Pixel 7a only supports 5W wireless charging, you don't have to worry about rated power output or compatibility issues. Need to charge you Pixel Buds too? The iOttie iON Wireless Duo is a 'Made-for-Google' accessory that can wirelessly charge your phone and earbuds at the same time.

Looking for power on the move? The high capacity of the INIU portable charger will offer multiple charge cycles for the 7a, so you can be away from a wall plug for days. For the ultimate convenience, the Baseus MagSafe power bank lets you wirelessly charge the Pixel 7a and even magnetically attach it to the phone with the right MagSafe accessory. For car junkies, it's hard to beat the iOTttie One Touch Wireless 2 car charger with its auto-opening arms the moment you bring the 7a near it.

After you're done shopping for chargers, why not grab a nice case or a screen protector for your Pixel 7a? These add-ons are just as essential for your Google device.
